The Beach Volleyball World Tour returns to Phuket for the 3rd year. The 3rd Phuket Thailand Open powered by PTT, penultimate stop on the Swatch-FIVB Womens Beach Volleyball World Tour will again be held on Karon Beach, Phuket from 4 - 9 November 2008.

The tournament which offers prize money of US$175,000 has attracted entries from the worlds leading professional beach volleyball teams to what is regarded as one of the biggest beach volleyball tournament in Asia, according to organizers Pentangle Promotions. A total of over 70 of the worlds leading beach volleyball teams from up to 30 countries are expected at the tournament.
