Pesticide-free vegetable is getting popular and in big demand. An old man in Phuket, despite his retired age, decided to keep his life simple and share his pesticide-free vegetables with others. Our reporter has more:
High quality seeds of vegetables including Chinese Cabbage, lettuce, spinach and celery are delicately planted in the earth within old rubber tires by Teerawut Sritularak, who is also the chairman of Phuket famous Chinese Shrine Jui Tui shrine. He reuses the old car tires otherwise being wasted - to be plots for his pesticide-free vegetables and herbs. He sprays them with herbal liquid to keep insects away from his plots. He told us:
I really focus on happiness and satisfaction. We experience happiness in planting as we can also get exercise, concentration and not being careless plus we can recycle materials.
